Better Concrete
Woman-owned and locally owned, with offices in Indianapolis and Carmel. Free in-person estimates and a 3-year workmanship warranty on every service.
Golden Paw Concrete is a team of concrete contractors in Indianapolis, with our headquarters in Indianapolis and a second office in Carmel. We pour driveways, patios, walkways, steps and pool decks for homeowners. We also handle flatwork for businesses, HOAs and property managers across the metro. Every slab we place has to stand up to freeze-thaw winters, clay soil and road salt. That shapes how we plan it. Browse our concrete services below, or call or text (317) 672-0966 to book a free estimate.

We aren't the low bid, and we don't try to be. Concrete lives outside for years. It deals with frost heave, de-icing salt, tree roots and downspouts dumping water at its edges. How it ages depends on choices made before the truck shows up: the sub-base, the forms, where the control joints go, and how the surface is finished and cured.
So we slow down at the estimate. A concrete specialist walks the site with you, explains the options in plain language and writes up an itemized scope. You decide without pressure. Our owner, Joselle, loves working outside and turning a tired patch of ground into a space people want to use. That's the part of the job we care about most.
Every job follows the same ten steps. Here they are in four groups:
Request an estimate, meet a concrete specialist on site, then review a written, itemized scope before you approve it.
Talk through financing if you want it, pay a 50% deposit, and we apply for any permits the job needs.
Your job goes on the calendar during pour season, March through November, and our crew completes the work.
We walk the finished job with you to make sure you're happy. The remaining 50% is due at completion.
See each step in detail on our process page. Want to spread out payments? Ask about financing: 0% financing for 12 months, subject to credit approval.
Homeowners are our first priority, but we pour for plenty of other people too. Find your group below, or see everyone on our who we serve page.

Because we don't build to win the low bid. Concrete poured fast on a poorly prepared base tends to crack, settle and flake after a few Indiana winters. Then you pay twice. We'd rather spend the time on prep, forms, joints and finishing, and back the work with our 3-year workmanship warranty. Our concrete cost guide explains where a concrete budget goes.
It depends on the size of the job, whether old concrete comes out first, any permit wait and the weather. We schedule once the deposit and any permits are in place. Cure time matters too. As a general rule, most new driveways need about a week before they carry a car. Our guide to caring for new concrete covers the first few weeks.
Yes. Along with homes, we pour and repair concrete for businesses, HOAs, schools, property managers and public agencies. We're insured, we accept invoicing, and every scope is in writing. Read how flatwork can be phased around an open business.
Four: stamped, colored and stained, broom (brushed) and exposed aggregate. Broom is the everyday standard for grip. Stamped and colored concrete add pattern and color to patios, pool decks and walks. Exposed aggregate shows off the stone in the mix. Our guide to choosing a concrete finish compares them.
